Type of assistance: Infrastructure

Purpose: This program provides the public and private sectors information on retail and enduse recycling markets in West Virginia.

Description: An annual survey of the retail, community and enduse recycling markets is conducted and the results are compiled in print and Internet editions of the West Virginia Materials Recycling Directory. Site specific information on wood residue resources also is produced for potential marketers of value-added applications. Please follow the link below to view the directory.

West Virginia Materials Recycling Directory Eligible activities: Recycling programs and enduse marketers are encouraged to list their information in the West Virginia Materials Recycling Directory.

Eligible applicants: Companies collecting traditional post-consumer recyclables, industrial and commercial endusers of steel, plastic, glass, wood, computers, motor oil and other residues. Companies utilizing residues for value-added products are encouraged to utilize the database or directory.

How to apply: Companies or community programs seeking inclusion in the directory or needing information on recycling may the West Virginia Development Office at (800) 982-3386 or (304) 558-2234.
