| COMMUNITY MATTERS |
 |
In our communities, we live, work, play and plan for the future. Communities
are the places we call home, the places where global issues become personal issues.
The Community Development Division of the West Virginia Development Office
encourages strong civic engagement in the administration of programs
designed to improve the quality of life in communities throughout West Virginia.
State and federal funding sources and programs promote private-sector
investment, revitalize commercial and residential areas, provide public
services and facilities, and assist state and local governments in developing
solutions within our communities.
Investing in our communities, West Virginia invests in its future. In West
Virginia, community matters. Please continue for more information about the
programs and services of the Community Development Division.
