Eligible activities: This program provides industrial assessments to industries that participate in the Industries of the Future-West Virginia (IOF-WV) program. These assessments examine energy costs and opportunities in lighting, motors, energy consumption, boilers, steam systems and other process areas. It is an important assessment tool for initiating energy and environmental assessments.

Eligible participants: Assessments are available to companies eligible to participate in the IOF-WV program and to industries below or above the energy expenditure criteria established by U.S. DOE for its Industrial Assessment Center program.

What areas does the assessment address? The assessment provides a review of the facility energy billing history. This history assessment determines what areas may need to be addressed to increase process energy efficiencies. Lighting, process efficiencies, motors, boilers, HVAC, and stream traps are some of the measures that can be addressed.

How much does this service cost? There is no charge for this service.
