West Virginia is home to many successful private-sector technology
companies. The state’s leading companies include:
- Milvets Systems Technology in Kearneysville provides
network/systems security engineering, help desk and operations
support; site surveys; vulnerability assessments policy
development, and other services.
- Library Corporation in Inwood develops hardware and software
for libraries, including integrated systems, cataloging
tools, public access catalogs, library tools and enhancements
and interlibrary loan.
- Information Manufacturing Corp. in Rocket Center converts
massive amounts of paper documents to useful digital files.
Their clients include governments, businesses, libraries
and any organization having large repositories of paper
documents.
- Fuentez Systems Concepts Kearneysville is a systems engineering
and integration company. Examples of their work include
providing command and control systems to the U.S. Navy,
communications systems to the Coast Guard and network support
and assurance to small and large businesses.
- Mantech Systems Engineering Corp. in Fairmont provides

and products to a wide range of military and government
